|
MK Zvi Sukkot from Religious Zionism received a threatening letter with suspicious material at his home in Yitzhar, demanding he act against the government. Among the demands listed in the letter: "Voting against the government in every discussion in the Knesset plenum or committees, including supporting the release of hostages, opposing the (designated) Shin Bet chief, opposing the dismissal of the Attorney General and opposing the ultra-Orthodox military draft exemption law." Sukkot said that "the phenomenon of threats against coalition members has continued for a year and a half - and it's time for the Shin Bet to use its full power to stop it."
