A court in the German city of Celle sentenced a man to six and a half years in prison after he was convicted of supporting Hezbollah, aiding an attempted murder and multiple violations of European Union embargo regulations. According to the indictment, he purchased electric and gasoline engines and propellers worth approximately one million euros for Hezbollah's drone program. Some of the equipment purchased was used in a drone that exploded on Yom Kippur in 2024 at a nursing home in Herzliya.
