Health Ministry calls for return of Glicksman eggs due to high hen mortality

The ministry updated that Glicksman Egg Marketing Ltd. is asking consumers to return its organic products - a dozen organic free-range eggs in size L or M - due to high morbidity and mortality of hens at the farm marketing the eggs. It was further stated that "laboratory results received so far have been found normal, but as an extra precaution and until the investigation is completed, the Health Ministry has instructed a voluntary recall of the eggs in distribution channels. The public is asked not to consume the products." Product details: July 21, refrigerator date August 20, agricultural code 414020, "organic" marking on the egg and/or packaging.
