IDF chief slams Channel 14 report: 'False, malicious and baseless claims'

|
IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stated that he "condemns the false, repeated and baseless attacks regarding the activities of the Military Advocate General and the Military Prosecution. There were no instructions from the Military Prosecution not to attack the building that collapsed and led to the death of four IDF soldiers in Khan Yunis on Friday." Zamir was responding to a report on Channel 14, which claimed that an IDF officer said "in a closed conversation" that the building where the four soldiers were killed in the Khan Yunis disaster was not attacked from the air due to "instructions from the Military Advocate General about 'high collateral damage'." According to Zamir, "The claims made are false, malicious and completely baseless."
