Teacher who protested against new agreement: 'Salary is already low, moral damage is much more significant'

|
Uri Steinberg, a third-grade teacher who went on strike in recent days, addressed the agreement reached between the Teachers Union and the Ministry of Finance in an interview with ynet studio. He stated that 'any arrangement that harms teachers' salaries and weakens the education system cannot be good. Our salary is already low. This is morally damaging. It's much more significant than how much goes into the bank account.' According to him, 'We feel that the organization representing us cannot get us out of this distress. How can they continue to damage education and break our spirit time and time again?'
