Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir and called on Pakistan and India to find ways to reduce escalation. A State Department spokesperson said this, adding that Rubio also offered American assistance in 'initiating constructive talks to prevent future conflicts.'
