Israeli flags stationed at the Knesset plaza were lowered to half-staff at 6:29 a.m. to mark the national memorial day for the Oct. 7 massacre. Present at the ceremony were Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, Knesset Director-General Moshe (Chico) Edri, Knesset Officer Chief Superintendent Yuval Chen, and the ceremony was accompanied by the honor guard of Knesset Guard fighters. Wreaths were laid at the foot of the memorial for Israel's fallen soldiers and the monument for victims of hostile acts.
