The prosecution submitted an indictment to the Be'er Sheva District Court against Omor Abu Gardud, a 27-year-old from Masoudin al-Azazme in the Negev, for smuggling weapons from Jordan to Israel. According to the indictment, at the beginning of the month, Abu Gardud drove to Jordan, and during his stay there received four disassembled pistols and magazines, which he hid in the engine oil pan cover. After his return to the country, the weapons were seized. The defendant was charged with importing and transporting weapons.
