Holocaust and October 7 massacre survivor Daniel Luz has died at the age of 92. Just last week, Luz shared in an interview with Ynetnews and Yedioth Ahronoth that "you see me in the picture happy and smiling, but my health condition is really not good." He joked: "Soon I'll need to return my soul to the Creator, but for the camera I'm making an effort." Luz lit a torch at the Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony held at Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, where he lived. He spoke about the trauma he experienced: I haven't recovered yet. Wars don't lead us anywhere. I would like there to be peace here. I no longer delude myself that I will live to see it, but that my grandchildren will see it - that's what matters most.
