The chief of staff said: "Now with the change of command, the naval arm will continue to stand guard – alert and determined, committed to defending the State of Israel, the maritime domains and our country's shores, safeguarding its freedom and fortifying its security. Rise and succeed." Haral said: "With a sense of mission, given the magnitude of the hour, the weight of responsibility – I assume command of the naval arm today. We are changing the face of the Middle East. No place is too far for the naval arm."
