Pakistan: 'Exchange of Fire on Indian Border, 5 Intercepted Aircraft Were Fighter Jets'

|
Pakistani military spokesman Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry reported that 'an exchange of fire is taking place between our forces and the Indian army at the ceasefire line in Kashmir.' According to him, 'We shot down five enemy aircraft - but the Indians did not hit any of our aircraft.' He stated that three French-made Indian Rafale fighter jets were shot down, along with a Russian-made Sukhoi-30 and a Russian-made MiG-29 fighter jet. 'We only hit them after they attacked Pakistani territory,' he claimed.
