The prosecution filed an indictment with the Haifa District Court against Ohad Arad (36) from Binyamina-Givat Ada for the premeditated murder of his brother, Asa Shaul Arad, in Moshav Ayala in July, against the backdrop of a financial dispute and an inheritance disagreement. According to the indictment, the defendant arrived at the mobile home where his brother lived in the moshav and attacked him with the intention of causing his death. He struck him forcefully on the head and eye and applied pressure to his neck and mouth in an attempt to strangle him. During the attack, the deceased fell to the floor and tried to defend himself, but he died at the scene. The indictment charges the defendant with the offense of premeditated murder.
