A woman in her 30s who was in the 29th week of pregnancy died over the weekend at Sheba Medical Center along with her unborn baby. She was found at her home in critical condition and rushed to the hospital by Magen David Adom teams, where she was taken to the obstetric operating room. Medical teams fought to save her life and she was connected to an ECMO machine (heart-lung), but despite efforts to save their lives, the teams were forced to pronounce the death of the mother and the fetus. The case was reported to the Ministry of Health.
