Michel Illouz, father of fallen hostage Guy Illouz, responded to Constitution Committee Chairman Simcha Rothman's statement that "it's a serious mistake to watch hostage videos." After the Knesset member called the videos a "psychological missile," Illouz said in an interview with ynet studio: "Rothman, your 'psychological missile' directed at me personally causes me stomach pain and leaves me completely upset. You are a disgrace to the State of Israel." Rubi Chen, father of fallen hostage Itay Chen, also responded: "Rothman lives in a parallel world where he 'doesn't want' to be reminded that the October 7 disaster is his collective responsibility, and of the urgency to release the 50 male and female hostages."
