Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced he will support the appointment of Knesset member Hanoch Milikowsky from Likud as the temporary chairman of the Knesset Finance Committee, replacing MK Moshe Gafni who resigned. This means Netanyahu has aligned with the ultra-Orthodox demand and will work to appoint MK Boaz Bismuth as chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee - replacing Yuli Edelstein. The vote will take place today around 4:00 PM in the Likud faction.
