IDF to Open Hiking Trails in South Designated as Closed Military Zones for Independence Day

In accordance with the operational situation assessment, Southern Command will allow the opening of hiking trails in southern Israel that were designated as closed military zones to the public starting tomorrow. Since the IDF continues to train in the area, some firing zones in the south will remain closed to hikers while some firing zones will be opened to hikers.
