Israel Resilience Party leader Gadi Eisenkot and Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Liberman are holding talks on a possible merger between the two lists ahead of the upcoming elections, Ynet has learned. Sources close to them said that following the merger between former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Opposition Leader Yair Lapid, new opportunities have opened for party mergers in the change bloc, and that the two are not ruling out the possibility of merging the two parties into a single list ahead of the elections. These are initial talks and the issue of leadership and who will head the list has not yet been discussed between the two, but messages have already been exchanged between the two figures to explore the possibility. During the week, Liberman and Eisenkot are expected to meet.
