Gantz slams Netanyahu: 'When he wants to, he's the state, when it's uncomfortable – it's the deep state'

Blue and White leader Benny Gantz responded at the start of his faction meeting to the protocols published by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "Like a thief in the night, the prime minister published 55 pages that are all a serious indictment against himself," he said. "I was there as IDF chief of staff when I told him we were ready to strike Iran – and he decided not to strike. I was there as IDF chief of staff when I presented the implications of conquering the Gaza Strip – and the entire cabinet decided not to conquer." Gantz called for establishing a state commission of inquiry, and said: "The protocols are Netanyahu and his opposite: when he wants to, he's the state, and when it's uncomfortable – it's the deep state."
