Police investigation revealed that for several months, the suspect had been in contact with an Iranian agent and allegedly, under his direction, documented homes of elected officials, photographed military bases, and sprayed graffiti. The investigation also found that the suspect received thousands of dollars in cryptocurrency in exchange for completing requested tasks. During his arrest, various digital media devices and computers that he allegedly used to communicate with the Iranians were seized. An indictment against him will be filed in the coming days.
