El Al announced it is preparing a rescue operation for Israelis staying abroad and their return home, once approval is received to resume aviation operations. According to the company's announcement, customers holding El Al tickets will be placed first on rescue flights, and at this stage new tickets cannot be purchased until March 21 or until all customers holding existing tickets have been accommodated. Customers whose flights were canceled are entitled to a refund or credit voucher, and the company emphasized that at present there is no need to travel to another destination in the world.
