Iran responds to IAEA report: 'No undeclared nuclear activity'

|
The Iranian Foreign Ministry and Atomic Energy Organization issued a joint statement in response to the IAEA report, which determined that Tehran had previously conducted covert nuclear activities using materials unreported to the agency. They stated that the report "does not reflect our true level of cooperation." The statement noted that "the report was prepared for political purposes, and Iran expresses its clear opposition to its content. We have repeatedly declared that there are no undeclared nuclear sites or activities." It further stated that "reliance on sources from Israel contradicts the principles of professional verification."
