Dubrowski, who received immunity from Netanyahu: 'I will not run on the Likud list, will only serve as AI minister'

|
High-tech entrepreneur Oren Dubrowski announced that he will not run for Knesset on the Likud list in the upcoming elections, despite receiving immunity from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "Friends, the prime minister asked me two months ago to join the Likud team in the upcoming elections, and so it will be," he wrote. "The prime minister offered me to serve as minister for AI affairs and to be placed in the top ten of the list. Nevertheless, I preferred to serve only as a professional minister, where I can contribute the most from my experience and not be on the list itself as a member of Knesset, and so we agreed. I intend to work hand in hand with Prime Minister Netanyahu, as part of the Likud team, to ensure that the State of Israel becomes an AI superpower."
