Bishara Bahbah, the Palestinian-American mediator between the U.S. and Hamas, wrote on his Facebook account that "Israel must enter serious negotiations." He also wrote: "Hamas delivered its response to the Israeli proposal regarding force redeployment and prisoner exchanges early this morning. Hamas's response was realistic and positive. Now, Israel must engage in serious and swift negotiations to reach a ceasefire. Everyone is waiting for relief. Gaza residents have suffered severely from killing, destruction and hunger." This comes after he pressed Hamas yesterday to deliver its response to the mediators.
