The IDF and Shin Bet struck yesterday in Khan Younis and eliminated the terrorists Basel Kashta and Ahmed al-Shaer, who were involved in smuggling combat equipment and military gear into the Gaza Strip. According to the IDF and Shin Bet spokespersons, as part of their role, the terrorists were responsible for procurement and trade in combat equipment and simultaneously advanced weapons smuggling into the Strip. The terrorists were eliminated in order to remove a threat to Israeli civilians and IDF forces operating in the Yellow Line areas.
