Security coordinators in communities in the southern part of the Gaza border area adjacent to Egypt received notification from the IDF about Egyptian army drills set to take place near the fence. The notice stated: "Between April 26-30, Red Force firing ranges will take place 100 meters from the border, between 06:00-19:00." The Gaza Border Communities Forum said: "It is unacceptable to allow the Egyptian army to train in such close proximity to the fence. We are warning against the creation of dangerous norms that led us to October 7 and calling on the political echelon to stop the firing ranges and drills."
