Dr. Alon Schortz, head of the trauma unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, provided an update on the condition of reserve soldier Neriya Leiter, son of Israel's Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter, who was wounded in yesterday's terror attack at a checkpoint on Route 443. Dr. Alon Schortz said that "after a series of tests and a series of surgeries, we can say that his condition is stable. It is still serious and his life is in danger, but we are filled with hope."
