The Commissioner of Standardization at the Ministry of Economy and Industry has warned consumers, parents and educational staff about the danger of using several models of Labubu dolls due to concerns for the health and safety of users. In a sample inspection conducted by the Commissioner through the Standards Institute, several models were found that do not meet Israeli standards and may be dangerous. The Commissioner published the barcodes and images of the dangerous dolls. Two of them come from China, and the third has no known country of origin. Dangerous models were found to have deviations in the content of phthalates (chemicals that affect human health) of the DBP and DEHP types.
