U.S. special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff met in Washington with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and discussed "increasing pressure to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza."
Witkoff is expected to depart on Thursday for a visit to Israel, during which he will visit one of the humanitarian aid distribution centers of the American Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
