Defense Minister Israel Katz addressed the arrest of suspects in Italy for raising millions of euros for Hamas. He said that "Hamas terrorists and all who seek to harm us will have no safe haven - neither in the Middle East nor in Europe." He reported that Israeli authorities, including Military Intelligence and Shin Bet, provided information and evidence to Italian authorities as part of an investigation targeting Hamas infrastructure in the country. According to him, Mohammed Hannoun, a senior figure in Hamas leadership in Europe, was arrested in Italy.
