Starting Sunday: Fuel companies required to enable digital wallet and smart watch payments

|
The Bank of Israel has decided that fuel companies will be required to enable payments at gas stations via digital wallets and smart watches starting Sunday. According to the decision, all fuel and energy companies will be obligated to allow the use of credit terminals connected to the EMV system when refueling at stations. This means it will be possible to pay for fuel at stations using, among other methods, digital wallets on mobile phones and smart watches.
