Kfar Saba Mayor and Chairman of the Seam Line Communities Forum Rafi Saar responded to the discovery of the tunnel in Qalqilya, saying it is "a grave incident that illustrates just how real and immediate the security threat to Seam Line residents is. This is not a theoretical warning - this is a security reality that requires resolute action. Seam Line residents, including Kfar Saba residents and the entire Sharon region, cannot live with a sense of uncertainty. They deserve security, protection and peace of mind, and the State of Israel must provide them with the necessary security response."
