The Knesset plenum approved in second and third readings the Basic Law: Government (Amendment No. 13). This combines proposals from the Constitution Committee and bills initiated by Knesset members Eliyahu Revivo (Likud), Efrat Rayten-Marom (Labor) and Karin Elharrar (Yesh Atid). The proposal received support from 84 Knesset members, with no opposition or abstentions. According to the bill, sections in the Basic Law: Government that establish the rotation government arrangement will be abolished, which were legislated in the 23rd government under Netanyahu-Gantz and later in the Bennett-Lapid government.
