About 900,000 visitors explored Israel's nature reserves and national parks during the Sukkot holiday. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that the leading sites were Gan HaShlosha (Sachne), Tel Ashkelon, Springs Park, Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Caesarea, Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, Ma'ayan Harod, Banias Nature Reserve, the National Park Surrounding the Walls of Jerusalem, Einot Tzukim Nature Reserve and Dor-HaBonim Beach Nature Reserve. About 39,000 visitors stayed overnight during the holiday at the Authority's campgrounds.
