|
Against the backdrop of the political-security cabinet meeting, parents of hostages referred to the exhibit "Send a Note to the Cabinet" held in the Hostages' Square. Participants were asked to insert a note with a message to the cabinet calling for the release of the hostages. Rubi Chen, father of fallen hostage Itai Chen, said "We are here outside the Shaul Gate - we asked the people of Israel to write what they would like cabinet members to consider when discussing the fate of our loved ones." Yael Adar, mother of fallen hostage Tamir Adar, said: "This is a way to listen to the will of the people, dedicate time to read what the people are asking and suggesting."
