Yesh Atid chairman Gadi Eisenkot said that recent reports, including those from The New York Times and The Atlantic magazine, regarding warnings that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allegedly received before the October 7 massacre "prove that he has clearly and unequivocally failed public trust and his role." Eisenkot stated: "The accumulation of facts exposed in recent times leaves no room for doubt - Netanyahu led the State of Israel blindly, arrogantly and irresponsibly to the greatest disaster in its history." He also said that "the thought of what would have happened if he had heeded the warnings, how many lives could have been saved and what the state's standing would be today - should keep every citizen of the State of Israel awake at night."
