Wife of hostage Omri Miran: '600 days of abandoning us and the hostages'

|
Lishi Lavia Miran, whose husband Omri Miran is being held hostage in Gaza, spoke at a rally marking 600 days of war at Sapir College, saying: "600 days - and this day is no different from day 598 and won't be different from day 602 as things look right now. We are already in Israel's longest war. 600 days since the biggest failure in the country's history, the biggest abandonment, and 600 days they continue to abandon us and not just them. We all grew up believing that no one is left behind. When joining the army, the first thought that crosses our mind is 'let every Hebrew mother know.' Well, today every mother and father should know that their children, parents and they themselves can be kidnapped from their homes and left behind in captivity."
