Reservist fires at paraglider in Gush Etzion that turned out to have strayed from approved airspace

|
A reserve soldier fired at a paraglider in eastern Gush Etzion, apparently believing it was an attempted terrorist infiltration into the settlement. According to an IDF spokesman, after an investigation it was found that 'this was a paraglider that took off from the Jordan Valley area in coordination and deviated from the approved airspace.' It was also reported that the paraglider left the area after the shooting and there were no casualties. The incident is under investigation.
