Corporal Shimon Tubol (19), a soldier in the company commander's forward command unit of the Haredi Hashmonaim Brigade, was killed last night in a car accident on Route 457 near Ma'ale Mikhmas while on leave from the IDF. Tubol is the first casualty of the new Hashmonaim Brigade, which was established to integrate ultra-Orthodox Jews into the IDF.
