Arab media outlets reported "clashes and military movements" in the Tripoli area, capital of Libya. According to the Lebanese network Al-Mayadeen, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, air traffic at Tripoli airport was suspended following reports of the assassination of Abdul Ghani al-Kakli, commander of the 'Stability Support Apparatus.' The Libyan Interior Ministry called on citizens to stay in their homes as gunfire was heard in various parts of the capital. Al-Kakli was considered a supporter of Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh.
