Trump: 'I want Gaza people to be safe. Iran? We want to let them be a country again'

|
U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, on his way to a rally in Iowa, that he "wants the people of Gaza to be safe." The president also addressed Iran, claiming that "they want to talk." He noted that he is willing to meet with Iranian representatives "if necessary" and added: "I think they will talk to me, and it's time for them to do that. We don't want to hurt them, we want to let them be a country again."
