U.S.: Tennessee man sentenced to 17.5 years for trying to help Hezbollah kill Israelis

|
A Tennessee court sentenced Reagan Derby Frater, a 28-year-old state resident, to 17.5 years in prison after he was convicted of attempting to help Hezbollah murder Israelis and committing a racially motivated arson. According to prosecutors, in 2019 Frater sent what he believed was a Hezbollah-affiliated operative a document containing personal details of more than 35,000 individuals allegedly connected to the Israeli government—both civilians and government employees—along with the message 'Start the hunt.' Frater was also convicted of setting fire to a Tennessee research center using an improvised napalm device. He also spray-painted a symbol associated with the Romanian Nazi organization in the facility's parking lot and admitted he acted out of white supremacist motives.
