According to the report, Bannon, one of the prominent opponents of American intervention in Iran, claimed that Israeli intelligence cannot be trusted, warned that bunker-busting bombs "might not work as they should," and noted that it is difficult to assess the risk to American soldiers stationed in the Middle East if Iran retaliates. It was further reported that after their meeting, Trump had already decided to suspend plans for an attack on Iran.
