The Foreign Workers Directors' Committee recommended a reduction of up to 83% in the annual fee for small and medium-sized businesses, and uniformity in application fees set at 370 shekels - instead of 1,420 shekels in the hospitality sector, 1,060 shekels in the construction and industry sectors and 710 shekels in agriculture. Additionally, amendments to the existing mechanism were recommended, so that the charge will be determined according to the date of the worker's entry into Israel and the actual duration of employment with the employer.
