Police arrested two suspects in Bir al-Maksur in the Lower Galilee after they allegedly robbed hundreds of thousands in cash near Kafr Manda. According to police, officers spotted a motorcycle speeding toward them that did not respond to their calls to stop. During the pursuit, the motorcycle rider struck a patrol officer, the motorcycle slid, and afterward both suspects were arrested by patrol officers at the scene. During a search, officers found a loaded handgun, two magazines full of ammunition and a large sum of foreign currency in cash. The suspects were detained for questioning at the Shfaram police station.
