An Israeli is facing criminal proceedings in Belarus after being caught at Minsk National Airport attempting to smuggle 170 oxazepam sedative pills into the country. This was reported by the Belarusian news site NewGrodno.by, which added that the substance is a psychotropic drug whose trade is permitted only under supervision, and that following the criminal proceedings, the Israeli could face severe punishment, including imprisonment.
