The Health Ministry has sent guidelines to hospitals and health maintenance organizations for winter preparedness, including an increase in illness and prevention methods. According to the ministry's announcement, flu vaccines are available at the HMOs: "Ahead of the upcoming winter season, the Health Ministry calls on the public, particularly at-risk populations, to get vaccinated against the flu early and not wait for an increase in illness," the statement said.
