Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a joint press conference with Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger and said that "Israel is interested in expanding the Abraham Accords and normalization with Arab countries." According to him, "We have an interest in adding countries like Syria and Lebanon to the circle of peace, while maintaining Israel's security needs. We want good relations with all our neighbors - at the same level." However, he emphasized that "in any peace agreement, the Golan Heights will remain part of the State of Israel."
