Tel Hai Academic College addressed Dr. Ilana Hirston's post, in which she wrote that "just as the Third Reich lost its right to exist, so too the State of Israel," and stated that "due to various publications that appeared on social media, the college's image has been unjustly damaged. Against the background of these publications, faculty members were summoned for a conversation with college president Professor Eliezer Shalev, during which it was made clear to them that the college views their publications with great severity, even if they were made on their personal and private accounts. During personal conversations, the lecturers expressed regret about the publications and they were removed. The administration decided to establish a team that will reformulate the institution's ethical code."
