Zohran Mmadani, the anti-Israel candidate who won the New York City mayoral election, delivered his first speech after his victory. "Tonight against all odds we did it. Friends, we toppled a political dynasty," he said. "To all New York residents, whether you voted for me or one of my rivals, every morning I will wake up with only one goal: to make this city better for you than it was yesterday." He addressed U.S. President Donald Trump: "New York will remain a city of immigrants, a city built by immigrants and driven by immigrants, and from tonight led by an immigrant. Listen to me, President Trump, when I say this: to get to one of us, you'll have to go through all of us."
