Emine Erdogan, the wife of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, addressed her U.S. counterpart Melania Trump regarding the war in Gaza, reported Turkish news agency Anadolu. According to the report, the Turkish first lady wrote to her counterpart that "Your compassion for the victims of war in Ukraine inspires hope, but the children whose laughter has been silenced are not only Ukrainian children. Palestinian children deserve the same joy, the same freedom and the same dignified future. It is too late for the children and babies of Gaza we have lost, but we still have a chance for more than a million other children."
